Te-Waza is
a subgroup of Karada-no-buki. Translated, Karada-no-buki means
using the body as a weapon. The primary parts of the body that can
be used are the head, hand, arm, elbow, leg and feet.
Their are
dozens of different hand strikes available in Jujutsu. Here I focus on
the Hand (Te) strikes most commonly used.

Roll your fingers tightly inward then bring your
thumb over them. |
Open your hand, bending it backwards. fingers
can be spread apart but I recommend keeping them tightly together. |
Keep the 4 fingers and the thumb
separated from each
other (similar to a lobster claw). Keep your palm facing
downward. |
